ANCESTRAL TREKKING

Description:

During this tour you will see the beautiful Quindío high mountains landscape and interact with its people and customs. The tour starts at 7:00 a.m.

The trip starts at 7:00 a.m. leaving Salento by Jeep till the “Primavera” viewpoint  where you will see “Los Nevados National Park” and the Cocorá Valley ; at this point we start a three-hours walk along the antique National trail to reach “El Rocio” Eagle´s Nest  a traditional farm and after a delicious breakfast prepared in a wood stove we will make a circuit of 4 hours trekking visiting the indigenous cemetery of Las Pampas and a traditional farm of the Alto Quindío (Las Brisas) to return at the afternoon  to El Rocio  to lunch, to taste a delicious coffee and from there, return by Jeep to Salento (Departure Time 7:00 am Estimated Time of Return 5:30 pm). All our departures are made with small groups (Maximum 4 people).Difficulty:
